Women in Pipe at PTC 2026: Advocating for Inclusion on the Global Stage

Every year, Berlin becomes the epicentre of the international pipeline industry. This week, Women in Pipe was there, and made its voice heard.

What is the Pipeline Technology Conference?

The Pipeline Technology Conference (ptc) is Europe’s leading event for pipeline professionals, held annually at the Estrel Congress Center in Berlin. Now in its 21st edition, ptc 2026 brought together more than 1,000 participants, over 100 exhibitors, and delegations from more than 60 countries, making it the premier global gathering for engineers, operators, and industry leaders working across the full pipeline lifecycle.

Beyond the technical sessions and exhibitions, ptc also hosts the Global Women in Pipeline forum, dedicated to empowering women and engaging men in the conversation around gender inclusion in the sector. It is exactly the kind of stage Women in Pipe was built for.

WIP at PTC 2026: Three Goals, One Mission

Women in Pipe attended ptc 2026 with a booth and a clear purpose: to bring the question of gender parity to the heart of the industry’s most influential gathering.

Our little team set out to achieve three things:

• Represent the essential role that women play in pipeline and piping engineering
• Connect with international leaders to help modernise the image of our industry
• Advocate for a more inclusive future, where talent has no gender

One of the highlights of the week was WIP’s participation in the Global Women in Pipeline event. A dedicated afternoon of dialogue, exchange, and shared ambition with women and allies from across the globe.
