Membership Conditions
- ARTICLE 1 of the Internal Regulations: APPROVAL OF NEW MEMBERS
- The association may welcome new members at any time.
- Individuals wishing to join the WIP (Women in Pipe) association must complete the membership form and send it to the registered office or to the secretary of the association by email or by post.
- Each membership is subject to the approval of the Board and is reserved for individuals aged at least 18 and for legal entities (local authorities, public institutions, associations, private companies, etc.).
- The Board is responsible for informing existing members about the arrival of new members.
- Membership becomes official once the new member has paid their membership fees (Article 2).
- The association reserves the right to refuse a membership application without having to justify its decision.
- Any individual or legal entity must fully and unconditionally accept the statutes of the association as well as the internal regulations.
- Changes in the list of members (arrivals, departures, intentions) are presented at the General Assembly.
- ARTICLE 2 of the Internal Regulations: MEMBERS AND FEES
- The Administrative Council approves the membership fees annually and validates memberships each month (Article 1).
- Founding Members shall pay an annual fee of €80 as a commitment to the activities of the association.
- Active Members commit to paying an annual fee of €80 and voluntarily participate in the activities of the association.
- Associate Members commit to paying an annual fee of €150 without being required to participate in the activities of the association.
- Benefactor Members are legal or natural persons who contribute annually an amount equal to or greater than €500, either in monetary form or in goods.
- Honorary Members, considering their authority and their support for the association, are exempt from paying membership fees. The “honorary” status is granted at the discretion of the President.
- Any membership fee paid to the association is definitively acquired. No refund may be requested during the year.
- ARTICLE 3 of the Internal Regulations: RESPECT FOR COMMITMENTS
- Members commit to maintaining an atmosphere of courtesy, mutual support, and solidarity among association members.
- Active Members respect the association’s policy and the directives decided at the General Assembly. They are supported by the Board in the framework of their activities.
- Members commit to promoting the association in their socio-professional environment and in compliance with its statutes.
- The association’s activities must be carried out in a spirit of openness, tolerance, and respect.
- Any behavior contrary to the values of the association may be subject to sanctions.
